For some reason my link is taking you to last week's post. To see my salty themed picture, please click here.

My youngest daughter is an expert on all things soft. It started when she began carrying around an old red tee shirt that I use to wear. Finally I relinquished the shirt and it became her constant companion. She said it was soft and she liked to sniff it (i.e. rubbed against her upper lip). One night we left the red shirt at Chili's. My husband went back to try to retrieve it. He told the staff that even if it was in the garbage can covered in ketchup, he wanted it back. They must have thought we were crazy when we left our phone number for them to call just in case it showed up. After the loss of the red shirt, my little peanut soon began sleeping in our bed and rubbing her face against our flannel sheets. Again, she said because it was soft. This picture was taken of her when she fell asleep snuggling up against my soft pillow. This winter I couldn't decide what to get her so I finally settled on flannel sheets. She was thrilled...it was her BEST PRESENT EVER! She cracks me up because she is only 4 but this girl loves her soft things. It may be genetic as my mom told me I use to take the cotton out of the top of medicine bottles and rub that against my nose while I sucked my thumb :)

What a sweet picture of your daughter! My husband is fascinated with all things "soft" and has been since he was a little kid. I'm sure he would love it if I bought him a set of flannel sheets!!
Aww how sweet. Beautiful girl!:)
Great picture and awesome story to go with the picture. I'm glad she loves her flannel sheets, I love that type myself.
:-)
What a beautiful little girl you have there and she has excellent taste in linens as I just love my soft flannel sheets, too!
My daughter is almost 21 and she got flannel sheets for Christmas. Sometimes in her dorm room, she doesn't even bother to put them on the bed, just piles them with her comforter and pillows and makes a "cocoon" sto sleep in.

Children are amazing, the ability to 'feel' things that we wouldn't. Flannel sheets are on my list for this years winter. Happy weekend.
She absolutely looks so contented with the feel of the soft pillow on her beautiful face.
Cheers to your weekend!
Awww...such a great photo. And such a sweet little girl with all of her "soft" things!
Thanks for stopping by.
Me again - I put the wrong website on my last post. Ooooops!!!
So sweet! She is beautiful. Great story too. Flannel sheets are nice and soft, and the tee-shirt ones are too. :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
I like sleeping on soft sheets too. :) That's a great photo - your daughter is very cute. :)
Thanks for visiting!
What a sweet picture. Love your story!! We had to retrive a baby doll from the mall once for one of our daughters.
Your husband is a king among men to run back for her shirt! Since she is very sensitive, I have a feeling that your little girl will have special insights into others as she grows.
Aww, what a beautiful little girl! I share her affection for soft cuddly things! Nice to see she is so well loved!
That is so cute! I love that she is wearing her glasses so she can see her dreams! She is adorable.
What a cute picture of a sweet little girl.
Such a sweet little girl! And losing a "blankie" can be devastating! I'm a big baby. I slept with my Lovie blanket until high school! My sister used to have flannel sheets, and they were the best!!
so sweet.
My SOFT BUNNY for this week, is posted.
She looks so peaceful.
Mine's up too :)
Love flannel sheets. Your daughter looks so sweet and I'm sure will grow into a sweet adult.
That is the sweetest photo! What a great pic! I too loved the silky part of the blanket and used to sniff it!
What a lovely photo of a very sweet cild sleeping! my photo is up, please come and visit soon.
Jennifer, she looks so cute snuggling that that. You are so blessed to have a sweet little girl like her...So sad thought that the red shirt was lost. Maybe you can find something else in your closet that is soft for her to use :).
Blessings on your weekend and always.
What a little cutie!
What a great story. All nice and soft. She must be in the soft la..la..la.. land.
Your daughter is beautiful! Her hair is so soft...so is her face, the bed, everything!
Great soft shot, but love the story even more...gives the whole meaning of the soft!
